Job summary

City College Norwich is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students across the Easton and Norwich campuses, helping learners access practical and theory-based learning in diverse settings.

You will work with students with SEND, neurodivergences and complex needs across classroom, workshop or salon environments, building confidence and independence while contributing to inclusive education and student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Supports students with additional needs, neurodivergences and complex medical/personal care needs.
• Comfortable working across multiple locations and environments.
• Willing to pursue a relevant qualification within 3 years and develop specialist skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students across a range of settings including classrooms, workshops and salons.
• Assist in accessing practical, vocational learning experiences and academic subjects.
• Build supportive relationships to empower independence and confidence.
