Job summary

Nottingham College Basford Campus is seeking a Personal Development Tutor to support our students across multiple subjects and levels within the pastoral program. You will deliver group tutorials, run 1-1 meetings where appropriate, monitor attendance and liaise with parents and guardians to assist student progression.

You should have GCSEs in English and Maths at A*-C (or equivalent) and be capable of managing groups.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at A*-C (or equivalent).
• Experience delivering tutorials to groups of students.
• Strong ICT and administrative skills.
• Willingness to work towards teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group tutorials and manage tutor groups.
• Meet students 1-1 as appropriate and support attendance.
• Liaise with parents/guardians and support student progression.
