Job summary

Teach Midlands at Ruskin Avenue, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. The role involves supervising pupils, supporting learning activities, and working closely with teachers to deliver consistently good provision.

You will need prior experience in a similar setting, strong communication, and be prepared for an enhanced DBS check and two positive references.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar setting.
• Two positive references from current/previous employers.
• Enhanced DBS and medical check required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide support for pupils, including those with special needs.
• Assist with development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans.
• Plan and Personal Care programmes.
• Support planning of learning activities in liaison with the teacher.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils and interact as needed.
• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
• Provide feedback to pupils on progress under teacher guidance.
