Job summary

Curtins is seeking a Student Structural Engineer for a 12-month industrial placement in Leeds for 2027-28. You will work on civil infrastructure projects, learn hydraulic modelling, highway design, and contribute to drawings and reports under the supervision of experienced engineers.

You'll experience project delivery from concept to construction, with exposure to STEM outreach and community activities, while developing technical and project management skills in a supportive, employee-owned firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist on hydraulic modelling of surface and foul water networks
• Support highway and junction design work
• Contribute to drawings, detailing and reports for major projects
• Engage in design progression from concept through construction
• Participate in STEM activities and community-based initiatives
