Job summary

Curtins is seeking a Student Structural Engineer for a 12-month industrial placement in Leeds for 2027-28. You will work on civil infrastructure projects, learning hydraulic modelling, highway design, and construction detailing under guidance.

You'll join a collaborative team on high-profile regional schemes and gain hands-on experience from concept through to construction, with opportunities for STEM and community activities.

Qualifications

• Student studying civil/structural engineering (or similar) and eager to learn
• Interest in hydraulic modelling, highways and junction design

Responsibilities

• Work on civil infrastructure projects and learn hydraulic modelling of surface and foul water networks
• Participate in design progression from concept through to detail and construction
• Contribute to 3D models, sketches, drawings and reports of structural schemes
• Get involved in wider activities such as STEM, charity and community initiatives
