Job summary

Keele University Students' Union (Keele SU) is seeking a casual Finance Assistant to support the finance team with day-to-day tasks in Keele SU's finance office on a casual, term-time basis.

You will post purchase invoices to Sage, assist with creditors ledger, manage the weekly BACS run, and handle multiple companies to ensure correct accounts are used for the respective departments, with ad-hoc filing and sales ledger duties as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable and invoicing is preferred.
• Proficiency with Sage Accounting or similar systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Post purchase invoices to Sage Accounting and assist creditors ledger.
• Support weekly BACS run to ensure timely processing.
• Ensure correct company is used for relevant departments.
• Perform ad-hoc duties including filing and sales ledger tasks.

Role Summary:

Assisting the finance team to provide smooth day to day running of the Keele SU finance office.

Posting of purchase invoices to Sage Accounting system and assisting with creditors ledger to ensure weekly BACS run is completed in a timely manner.

Dealing with multiple companies ensuring correct company is used for relevant departments.

Ad-hoc duties in relation to filing, sales ledger and other finance office tasks as required.
