Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Student Services Administrator to join a busy Student Services team in a leading Higher Education environment. The role is on-site, 35 hours per week, and temporary until 11 December 2026 with a pay rate of £15.36 per hour plus holiday pay.

You will act as the first point of contact for students, staff and stakeholders, providing professional, empathetic support and handling enquiries with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative or customer-focused role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• A professional, approachable, and empathetic manner.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries via email, telephone, and in person.
• Manage incoming queries and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
• Provide high-quality administrative support across a range of student support services.
• Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems and databases.
• Develop a strong understanding of administrative processes within your assigned service area.
• Support other Student Services teams as required to ensure a seamless student experience.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Deliver an accessible, professional, and student-centred administration service.
