Job summary

Darlington College is seeking a Safeguarding and Welfare Advisor who will act as frontline support for students and contribute to safeguarding. You will liaise with the Head of Student Services and Safeguarding, and with the Assistant Manager of Student Services and Safeguarding to address concerns and provide timely information.

Responsibilities

• Frontline safeguarding support for students and liaising with safeguarding leads.
• Plan and deliver mentoring and pastoral support to remove barriers to learning.
• Maintain confidential student records and support attendance and welfare initiatives.
