Job summary

Derby College Group is seeking a Safeguarding Coordinator to support vulnerable students and apprentices, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at the Joseph Wright Centre. This role requires coordinating tailored support and working with external agencies to provide timely help.

You will bring safeguarding knowledge, training delivery skills, and a proactive approach to improve student welfare and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using data and KPIs to drive improvement.
• Ability to coordinate safeguarding and multi-agency support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tailored safeguarding support for vulnerable students and apprentices.
• Deliver safeguarding training and present to staff and partners.
• Collaborate with external agencies to ensure timely support for students.
