Job summary

Coventry University Group is seeking a Student Recruitment Events Manager to lead the development and delivery of a Group-wide events strategy, designed to attract, engage and convert prospective students throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

You will plan, develop and deliver high-impact in-person and virtual events, collaborating with colleagues and external suppliers and using data to optimise performance to ensure events align with recruitment and brand objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in a related subject, or substantial professional experience in a similar role.
• Significant experience as a strategic and delivery-focused events professional delivering large-scale, multi-audience events.
• Strong organisational, commercial awareness and data-informed decision-making to optimise performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver high-impact in-person and virtual events to attract and convert prospective students.
• Ensure events provide a seamless, engaging experience and support applicants from initial interest through to enrolment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external suppliers, using insight and stakeholder engagement to improve performance and align activity with recruitment and brand objectives.

Competitive staring salary range from £39,324.00 - £44,710.00 per annum (dependent on experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

The Role

The Student Recruitment Events Manager is responsible for leading the development and delivery of a Group-wide events strategy which is designed to attract, engage and convert prospective students across the recruitment lifecycle.

In this role you will plan develop and deliver high-impact in-person and virtual events. You will ensure that the events are a seamless and engaging experience, confidentially supporting prospective students from initial interest in joining the University through to application and enrolment through effective communication.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across teams and with external suppliers, you will use insight, innovation and strong stakeholder engagement to continuously improve performance and align activity with wider recruitment and brand objectives.

Our Successful Candidate

Our successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a related subject area, or if from a professional background, you will have significant experience within a similar role.

You will have significant professional experience as a strategic and delivery-focused events professional, with experience in planning and delivering large-scale, multi-audience events to drive leads and convert customers. You will be highly organised, commercially aware and confident using data to inform decision-making and optimise performance.

You will be an effective communicator who is able to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and present with confidence to diverse audiences, whilst leading and motivating teams. You will bring a positive, resilient and proactive approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
