Job summary

Northumbria University is seeking two roles within the Undergraduate Student Recruitment Team to connect the University with schools and colleges. You will develop and deliver recruitment initiatives, widening participation activities, and on/off-campus events, engaging with aspiring students across the region and nationally.

The postholders will support across the Undergraduate Team and university faculties, delivering activities both digitally and face-to-face, and collaborating with the

Qualifications

• Honours degree or equivalent.
• Experience of working with young people or demonstrated interest in doing so.
• Outstanding presentation skills and ability to engage prospective students through face-to-face and virtual interventions.
• Ability to relate to a range of people including students, teachers, parents and university staff.
• Current full driving licence, willingness to drive long distances including evenings and weekends, and ability to travel as required (car not essential).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver student recruitment initiatives and widening participation activities.
• Collaborate with faculties to drive recruitment to specific courses and organise faculty taster sessions with schools and colleges.
• Plan and deliver on-campus events and outreach activities both regionally and nationally.
• Support and work with the Events, Admissions and Marketing teams to ensure effective engagement across digital and in-person formats.
