Birmingham City University is seeking a dedicated Student Systems Analyst to join the SaAS Student Records team, supporting the university’s student record services and the SITS: Vision system with a focus on assessment, progression, awards and curriculum. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the University to ensure records reflect academic regulations and enhance the student experience.

Qualifications

• Educated to first degree level or equivalent professional qualifications, skills and experience.
• Experience of systems management and student records, preferably including SITS:Vision.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and apply requirements.

Responsabilités

• Support design, configuration, testing, deployment and maintenance of assessment patterns and award rules in SITS: Vision.
• Work with Programme Administration to support annual assessment, progression and awards cycle.
• Interpret assessment, progression and award regulations to ensure compliance.
• Undertake business and systems analysis for regulatory and process changes.
• Develop and support reporting on student records performance for assessment, progression and awards.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to system upgrades, testing, documentation and training materials.
