Oxford Creators Education CIC is seeking a SEN teaching assistant / student mentor for the Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire. The role focuses on supporting 11–16 year olds with neurodiverse needs and difficulties, delivering therapeutic interventions and wellbeing activities within a nurturing, personalised approach.

Contract is term-time (39 weeks delivery + 1 Week Training) with school-day hours, designed to provide consistent, flexible support and safeguarding across the team.

Formación

• Experience with vulnerable children or young people with special educational needs (education, AP, PRU, youth work, care, or similar).
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous learning.
• Calm, patient and confident in supporting behaviour.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support to students with special educational needs, including therapeutic interventions and wellbeing activities.
• Identify and meet the needs of children, adapting to individual requirements.
• Be consistent, reliable and resilient, able to work under pressure.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and dedication to improving opportunities for learners on a term-time basis.
• Stay flexible to suit the pace and demands of the role at Harwell Campus.
