Job summary

The University for the Creative Arts seeks a Campus Life Officer to provide high-quality information, advice and guidance to students on a wide range of issues affecting student life. You will handle welfare, misconduct cases and confidential information within a supportive, inclusive environment.

You will respond to concerns via the university platform, conduct risk assessments, coordinate support plans and administer financial support schemes, contributing to student engagement and success

Qualifications

• Educated to NVQ Level 3/4 (or equivalent).
• Experience in advice, guidance, welfare support or casework.
• Experience in higher education or student services preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience handling sensitive information and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Manage welfare and misconduct cases.
• Respond to concerns raised via the Report + Support platform.
• Undertake risk assessments.
• Coordinate support plans for students.
• Administer financial support schemes for students.
• Act as a primary point of contact for student enquiries.
