Job summary

St John Henry Newman Catholic School in Carlisle is seeking an Intervention Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the Intervention room and provide professional support to improve teaching and learning outcomes for students.

The role involves working with staff and external stakeholders, building strong relationships, maintaining case notes, and leading by example to ensure a professional work environment. DBS and health checks will be completed as part of safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the Intervention room.
• Provide high-level professional support across the school and externally to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and case notes for individual students.
• Lead by example and promote a professional work environment to address students' needs.
• Ensure safeguarding and DBS/health checks are completed as required.
