Job summary

Homes for Students Ltd seeks a Caretaker for The Priory property in Leeds, working 30 hours per week. The role covers property maintenance across several trades, painting, plumbing tasks, and general repairs to maintain high service standards for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or a trades background within similar environments.
• Ability to work across multiple trades to a reasonable standard.
• Good health and safety awareness and reporting of issues.
• Strong customer care, organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Painting and decorating as required.
• Unblocking drains and basic plumbing tasks.
• Fixing taps and changing lightbulbs.
• Carrying out perimeter litter picking.
• Managing fault response to keep residents informed and satisfied.
