Job summary

Homes for Students is recruiting a Housekeeper for our Globe Works property in Birmingham. The role is 35 hours per week, focusing on keeping common areas clean to a high standard and ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

You will perform planned and reactive cleaning across student buildings, kitchens, offices, communal areas and toilets, including replenishing consumables and supporting seasonal turnaround periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Excellent communication and ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Effective teamwork with a flexible approach to work and colleagues.
• Ability to undertake manual work to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas of the property to a high standard.
• Carry out planned and reactive cleaning in student buildings, kitchens, offices and toilets.
• Replenish consumables to maintain hygiene standards.
• Support summer turnaround activities to prepare for new intake.
