Job summary

Oxford Brookes University is seeking two Student Funding Administrators to join the Finance and Legal Services team at Headington Campus with hybrid working options. The role involves coordinating SLC funding, tuition fees, and the OBU Bursary scheme, ensuring data integrity across Banner and SIS, and providing high-quality student support during enrolment and Open Days.

You will work closely with the Student Loans Company and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience essential.
• Data entry and interpretation skills needed.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administer financial enrolment for UK tuition fee and maintenance loans as part of a team.
• Complete SLC enrolment confirmations to ensure timely maintenance loans.
• Ensure accurate attendance data for SLC and tuition fee income disbursement.
• Respond to queries from applicants and students by email/phone and update records.
• Advise on financial implications of study-pattern changes.
• Investigate discrepancies between SLC and OBU tuition fee data and resolve queries.
