Job description

Aspens Services Ltd is a market-leading contract catering company specialising in school food. By combining our understanding of the education sector with our knowledge of current food trends, we encourage creativity and excitement in our kitchens, providing fantastic food experiences for children.

To support our growth, we are seeking a Student Engagement Manager to join our team. This role involves representing Aspens professionally, engaging stakeholders, and championing our Added Value Programme across Torquay, Essex, and Suffolk. You will create impactful activities to drive participation, strengthen relationships, support contract retention, and foster business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Delivering the Aspens Added Value Programme: Foster strong client and customer relationships through meaningful engagement and ensure transparent communication.
  2. Ownership and Initiative: Collaborate with teams and clients to support initiatives, manage engagement activities, develop a year-round events programme, track outcomes, and gather feedback for improvements.
  3. Support operations in fulfilling contracts and work with the wider team to engage clients, parents, and the community, enhancing service delivery.
  4. Promote a culture of quality, health, safety, and environmental awareness (QHSE).
Inspiration

Organise regional innovation events connecting food teams and marketing initiatives with schools, ensuring tailored promotions meet client needs.

About You
  • GCSE-level education or equivalent
  • Level 3 in Customer Service or equivalent experience
  • Food Hygiene certification and QHSE training
  • Proven success in engagement and added-value initiatives
  • Experience in customer-focused roles with strong multi-platform communication skills
  • Ability to engage and retain clients, students, and customers at all levels
  • Highly organised, proactive, and flexible
  • Understanding of client relationship management and expectation setting
