Job summary

Lloyd's Register International in Perth, Scotland, is seeking a Student Development Worker on a part-time fixed-term basis until June 2027. The role supports students across the department, building positive relationships and guiding them to reach their full potential.

Working 14 hours per week on Mondays and Tuesdays, you will help students engage with their programmes, prepare for the future, and contribute to a supportive college environment. A PVG check is required.

UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.

We are looking to recruit a Student Development Worker on a fixed term basis. The Student Development Worker will work to build positive relationships whilst providing support and guidance to students across the department. The post holder will help students to actively engage with their programme to their full potential as well as helping them to prepare for the future.

As an enthusiastic team player, you will be joining a team committed to making a difference to young people’s lives. It is essential for you to have experience of working with vulnerable young people and an understanding of the issues affecting them.

This post undertakes regulated work with children and protected adults, and a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check is required. A check will be made against the list of those barred from working with children and protected adults.
