Welcome to John Shepherd, part of Lomond, the UK's leading network of lettings and estate agencies. We have 10 offices and over 100 staff dedicated to helping our customers find, sell, and let properties.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Compliance Coordinator. This full-time, permanent position is based in Nottingham, with hours from Monday to Friday, 0845 to 1730.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate compliance categories including Legionella, Gas, Electrical (EICR, PAT), EPC, Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Alarm Certification.
  2. Instruct and monitor the timely completion of servicing and certification.
  3. Track and manage remedial actions to resolution, ensuring follow-up and closure.
  4. Ensure accurate recording, updating, and auditing of certification and documentation via CRM systems.
  5. Raise, schedule, and oversee work orders, coordinating with contractors and maintenance teams.
  6. Conduct internal audits of compliance records to identify gaps and improve processes.
  7. Generate reports on KPIs, remedial, and contractor performance for management.
Candidate Qualities:
  1. Experience in compliance or health & safety roles (placement, internship, or employment).
  2. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  3. Attention to detail and accuracy in records and reports.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
