Job summary

City St George's is seeking a creative, organised Student Communications Assistant to join the Student Communications and Welcome team. You will create content that brings student life to life across newsletters, news stories, blogs and social media, and contribute to Campus News and the all-student e-newsletter.

You will work closely with fellow students to reflect their voices and perspectives, plan communications campaigns, and attend University events to gather engaging content.

Responsibilities

• Create content across a range of channels including newsletters, news stories, blogs and social media.
• Plan and produce Campus News and the fortnightly all-student e-newsletter; schedule content for student-facing channels.
• Collaborate with fellow students to reflect their voices, experiences and perspectives in the content.
• Attend university events to gather engaging content and develop multimedia material (photography and video) where possible.
• Ensure all content aligns with the University's brand guidelines and communication standards.
