Job Title: Student Barista / Catering Assistant

This role is exclusively available to current students at the University of Leeds.

Interviews are scheduled to take place between the 8th and 12th of July.

Salary: Grade 2 (£12 per hour)

Are you a current student seeking part-time casual work to support your studies? Do you possess excellent customer service skills? Do you have experience working in a customer-facing role within retail or catering?

The Catering & Hospitality department at the University of Leeds is hiring staff to work across the Refectory and eleven campus cafes.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing hot and cold drink service as a Barista
2. Operating tills
3. Delivering customer service and hospitality/event service

Flexible shift patterns are available around your study commitments, with up to 20 hours per week during term-time. Opportunities for out-of-term and summer conferencing work are also available.

Training is expected to commence in September 2024, with most roles beginning in the first term. Applicants with significant barista or food service experience may be able to start earlier, in summer 2024.
