Job summary

City of Glasgow College invites applications for a Student Advisor to join the Student Experience Directorate on a 1-year maternity cover, 28 hours per week. The role focuses on guiding students in financial capability, wellbeing support, and progression planning to help them succeed.

You will assess and distribute discretionary and trust funds to eligible students, provide coaching and mentoring, and support priority groups.

Are you passionate about supporting students and helping them succeed? We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Student Advisor to join our Student Experience Directorate and make a positive impact on students' lives.

About the Role
  • Financial capability and student funding.
  • Personal support and wellbeing.
  • Support priority group students as one of the named Student Advisors.
  • Career pathways and progression.

You will also be responsible for assessing and distributing financial aid via Discretionary and Trust Funds to eligible students, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.

About You

Successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Disclosure Check & Certificate of Good Conduct (as applicable at their own cost) and must be eligible to work in the UK.
