Job summary

XEIAD is a specialist engineering inspection consultancy delivering high-quality inspections and assessments on critical infrastructure assets. As a Structures Engineer, you will carry out site examinations of civil structures, assess conditions and produce clear reports.

You will coordinate activities, lead projects and travel to sites across the UK, contributing to safe, compliant asset management. You will work with a team of engineers delivering inspections using rope access, diving and

Qualifications

• Degree in an Engineering related field.
• Highways structures inspection BICS competency, or working towards.
• Experience in a structures inspection role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to organise and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Willing to travel and work on site across the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe delivery of structural inspections, investigations and surveys across a range of infrastructure assets.
• Coordinate site activities, resources, plant, equipment and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Complete inspections in line with relevant technical standards, specifications and customer requirements.
• Identify and manage site risks through effective planning, dynamic risk assessment and safe systems of work.
• Produce accurate, high-quality technical reports and inspection records.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
