Job summary

British Engineering Services Group, serving the South West England region, requires a Structures Inspector for XEIAD to inspect and survey a range of infrastructure civil assets. You will lead inspection projects, ensure safety and quality, and produce inspection reports and CAD drawings.

Ideal candidates will have experience in structures inspection, knowledge of DMRB, and be willing to travel nationwide. A driving licence is essential and a company vehicle may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in carrying out structural inspections and surveys on infrastructure assets.
• Knowledge of DMRB standards and inspection manuals.
• Ability to produce inspection reports and drawings (CAD).
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work at height or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural inspections, investigations and surveys for infrastructure assets across highways sector.
• Lead safe delivery of inspections and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Plan site activities, liaise with landowners/contractors, review safe systems of work.
• Prepare inspection reports and associated CAD drawings.
• Collaborate within a growing infrastructure projects team.
