Job summary

The Reserves Network is seeking a Fabricator in Carlisle, IA to fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components per blueprints and job specs. The role supports planning, material handling, fabrication, and erection while emphasizing safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, cutting, bending, welding, and bolting steel elements, and ensuring correct installation with rigging equipment.

Qualifications

• 2-year trade school education completed.
• Minimum 4 years of structural steel/ironworker experience.
• Proficiency with cutting torches and stick/wire welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to fabricate and install structural steel components.
• Fabricate, cut, bend, weld, and assemble steel and rebar using torches and welding equipment.
• Install and secure beams, columns, and girders using bolts, chains, and hoisting equipment.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain tools, machinery, and rigging equipment safely.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
