Job summary

Industrial Technology Services of Chesterfield is seeking an experienced steel fabricator to construct high-quality structural products per customer specifications. The role requires the ability to interpret blueprints and perform welding with strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include fabrication of steel structures, reading drawings, and adhering to safety and quality codes. A minimum of 5+ years in custom metal manufacturing and welding certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the custom metal manufacturing trade.
• Read blueprints and engineering fabrication drawings.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination.
• Must be able to read measurements and use basic math skills.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines in an efficient manner.
• Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous or current welding certifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow Industrial Technology Services policies and procedures and lead by example.
• Diligent in ensuring a zero-accident philosophy is incorporated into all aspects of construction operations.
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
• Fabricate steel structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Complete preventative maintenance.
• Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
• The use of fabrication tools such as drills, shears, presses, and precision measuring tools.
