Job summary

Dropp.UK in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator to join a busy engineering workshop. This role involves fabricating large steel structures and heavy industrial components using engineering drawings, working with structural steel sections and thick plate (10mm - 50mm+).

You will perform MIG/MAG welding as part of the fabrication process and build large steel assemblies, plant equipment and machine frames in a well-established workshop with regular overtime

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel or heavy fabrication.
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings.
• MIG/MAG welding experience.
• Experience working with thick steel plate.

We are recruiting for an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator to join a busy engineering workshop in the West Midlands.

This role involves fabricating large steel structures and heavy industrial components using engineering drawings. You will be working with structural steel sections and thick plate (10mm - 50mm+) in a well-established workshop with regular overtime available.

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Overhead crane or forklift experience
• Experience in heavy industrial or plant fabrication
