Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Structural Design Engineer (Structural Steel) for an office-based role in Halifax, West Yorkshire. You will produce structural steel designs, ensure compliance with British and European standards, carry out structural analysis and connection design, and perform stress calculations using MasterSeries and S-Frame.

You will provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, mentoring design engineers.

Qualifications

• Structural Design Engineer with structural steel background.
• Ability to commute to Halifax.
• Experience delivering structural designs to British/European standards.

Responsibilities

• Design structural steelwork using Tekla Structures.
• Produce structural calculations and ensure compliance with British and European standards.
• 37.5-hour week with flexible start/finish times and office-based work.
• Support and mentor junior Design Engineers.
