Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager (Construction / Structural Steel) in Halifax, West Yorkshire. The role offers a hybrid working pattern with a £50,000–£60,000 base salary (OTE £70k) and benefits across a northern sales territory.

You will head up the sales for a longstanding manufacturer and steelwork installation specialist, covering the Midlands and North of England, building relationships with existing clients and onboarding new business.

Qualifications

• Experience selling structural steel or construction products.
• Regional sales territory management experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a sales territory across the Midlands and the North of England.
• Develop existing accounts while generating new business opportunities.
• Visit new and existing clients to build long-term relationships.
• Prepare sales plans and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
