Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Design Engineer in Leicester with full training on Tekla. The role involves producing 2D drawings and 3D models for steel and architectural metalwork, including staircases and balustrades, and coordinating with internal and external teams.

You will work on projects from structural frames to bespoke metalwork, with occasional site visits across the UK and a competitive package. Training on Tekla is provided.

Qualifications

• 3D modelling experience required with steel/metalwork background.
• Comfort with producing 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Willingness to travel for site visits across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Using Tekla to draw and design steel and metalwork projects (full training provided).
• Lead projects from structural frames to bespoke metalwork, including stairs and balustrades.
• Liaise with internal and external teams and manage documents; occasional site visits.
