Job summary

Vincera Consulting Ltd. in Birmingham is seeking a proactive Structural Revit Technician to contribute to modern projects. The role requires hands-on experience with concrete and steel through construction stages, and proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structures for building design and construction tasks.

You will collaborate with engineers and project teams to produce BIM models, drawings and documents, while developing project-specific BIM workflows and data management strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete and steel projects through construction
• Experience using Autodesk Revit Structures on building design/construction projects
• Proactive with good eye for drawings and models

Responsibilities

• Produce structural information modelling and drawing production on projects
• Prepare and develop structural drawings, BIM models, images and other documents
• Develop project-specific BIM workflow, BIM Execution Plans and Data Management
• Take responsibility for production and delivery of structural information for design areas
• Assist the BIM Manager and coordinators with BIM tasks
• Organise and coordinate the structural design team to deliver projects
• Maintain library of families and develop new families
• Develop complex parametric Revit families (BIM content)
• Work with IFC formats and COBie standards
• Manage geolocation settings, shared coordinates and site models
• Coordinate with live architectural and MEP linked models
