Job summary

Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to produce designs, calculations, and reports. You will collaborate with architects, contractors and internal teams to deliver coordinated solutions and conduct site inspections while ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes.

The role involves contributing to project planning, risk assessments, and QA, with opportunities for professional development and chartership support within a friendly team

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with structural design software such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or STAAD.
• Solid knowledge of UK standards and Eurocodes.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Working toward chartership (IStructE/ICE) or already chartered.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural designs, calculations, and technical reports.
• Work with architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver coordinated solutions.
• Carry out site inspections and prepare structural assessments.
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant Eurocodes.
• Contribute to project planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance.
