Job summary

Strata Consulting, based in Nottinghamshire, is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer with about two years of UK consultancy experience to join a close-knit, supportive team. You will contribute to a diverse project portfolio across residential, commercial, industrial and education sectors, supporting design and delivery from concept to completion.

You'll work with experienced engineers, develop your technical skills, and progress toward chartership with ICE or IStructE in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Approximately 2 years of UK consultancy experience.
• Working knowledge of structural design principles and British Standards/Eurocodes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of structural projects using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Produce structural calculations, reports, and technical drawings.
• Support senior engineers from inception to completion.
• Attend site visits and carry out structural inspections when required.
• Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to design meetings and technical discussions.
• Work toward chartership with ICE or IStructE.
