Job summary

Strata Consulting is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join the Cinderford office. You will lead the design and delivery of bespoke steel building projects, with scope to influence the future direction of the business and progress toward Directorship.

The role requires Chartered status (or near Chartership) with IStructE or ICE, strong steel design experience, and a track record in leadership and client relations. Hybrid working is offered along with a significant autonomous remit.

Qualifications

• Chartered Structural Engineer status with IStructE or ICE.
• Strong experience in steel design, including cold rolled/light gauge systems.
• Ability to own projects from concept to delivery.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capability.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery.
• Lead and mentor engineers within the technical team.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to shape project outcomes.
