Job summary

Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd in the Cinderford area is seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join its specialist steel building team. You will contribute from initial design through to delivery on a varied portfolio of bespoke projects, with genuine potential to lead a business unit as the company grows.

Applicants should be Chartered with IStructE or ICE (or near Chartership), have strong steel design experience, and proven leadership and client-facing skills to

Qualifications

Chartered Structural Engineer status with IStructE or ICE (or near Chartership).
Strong steel design experience, ideally with cold rolled/light gauge steel.
Ability to take ownership from concept through to detailed design and delivery.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Experience in mentoring engineers and leading teams.

Responsibilities

Lead design and delivery on bespoke steel building projects.
Develop and lead a business unit within the firm.
Review designs and provide technical guidance to the team.
Build relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
