Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd in Derby is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead design across a diverse project portfolio including residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to delivering high-quality design solutions.

The role requires a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 3 years of UK consultancy experience, with proficiency in Tekla, TEDDS, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a UK structural consultancy environment.
• Proficient with Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and delivery from concept through construction.
• Undertake detailed design in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other team members.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, reports and specifications.
• Attend project and site meetings.
• Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
