Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer for a design-led consultancy in Cardiff, offering a competitive salary and a generous package. You will lead design and analysis, mentor juniors, and coordinate with architects, contractors and clients from concept through site delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered with ICE or IStructE or working toward it.
• Experience in building structures within a consultancy.
• Proficient in Tekla, Autodesk and related analysis tools.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Understanding of design-to-construction process.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed design and structural analysis across building types.
• Lead projects and oversee a design team.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Communicate with architects, contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Liaise with clients and respond to technical queries.
• Attend site visits and contribute to technical reports and design reviews.
• Take on increasing responsibility toward senior management.
