Job description

We are looking for an experienced structural engineer with building structures experience for an award-winning practice to work in their Cardiff office. This engineering consultancy typically punches well above its weight with the kind of projects it brings in and has expanded its operation significantly. Projects come from various sectors and range up to £100m, they include:

• Local schools
• Hospitals
• Healthcare facilities
• Local authorities

As a senior technician, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Producing detailed structural calculations
• Liaising with clients, contractors and Architects
• Building relationships with clients and handling queries
• Attending design team meetings
• Attending site visits
• Mentoring and assisting in the development of Graduate Engineers

Essential criteria for this role:
