Job summary

Construction Resources Limited is seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer to lead the technical delivery of diverse structural projects. You will work with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams, driving design and analysis from concept to construction.

The role offers responsibility for project delivery, client relationships and mentoring of junior staff, with hybrid working across South Wales, Bristol and West London.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with a recognised institution such as IStructE or ICE.
• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Experience in structural engineering consultancy.
• Experience in structural analysis and design.
• Experience with materials: steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects and fee budgets.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience with structural analysis software; AutoCAD/Revit advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of a variety of projects.
• Undertake and oversee structural analysis and design.
• Produce and check structural calculations, reports and documentation.
• Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and Building Regulations.
• Manage project programmes and resources.
• Liaise with clients, architects and contractors.
