Job summary

Emtech Recruitment is seeking a Structural Design Engineer in London or Manchester to join a sustainability-focused engineering consultancy.

You will work with Senior and Associate Engineers on structural design, analyses, drawings, site attendances, and project leadership development. The role includes a competitive salary, hybrid working arrangements and strong career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience producing structural calculations and drawings.
• Interest in sustainable design and built environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural engineering design and analysis.
• Prepare, present and check drawings and calculations.
• Brief and support Technicians and Graduate Engineers.
• Attend site and project team meetings.
• Carry out occasional site surveys and inspections.
• Contribute to design reviews, bids and fee proposals.
• Develop project management, resource planning and commercial skills.
• Support junior team members and contribute to their development.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and company QMS.
