Job summary

WSP is hiring a full-time Structural Engineer based in London, working from our Chancery Lane office. You will join an expanding Building Structures team and lead design from concept through to construction on high-profile UK and international projects.

Join a diverse team delivering high-rise, stadia, urban regeneration and data centre projects with a focus on sustainable, net-zero design and MMC/DfMA principles. You will collaborate across disciplines and mentor less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
• Path to Chartership with IStructE or ICE.
• Solid experience in structural engineering design across materials.
• Detailed working knowledge of national codes and standards.
• Experience with structural design software packages (ETABS, RAM, Tekla, Tedds).
• Experience using Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper; client/ contractor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the design process across projects to deliver compliant solutions.
• Manage processes to resolve technical issues cost-effectively.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors and other disciplines.
• Provide sustainable structural design solutions from concept to construction.
• Report to a senior team member and contribute to high-profile, multi-disciplinary projects.
