Bimplus is seeking a Structural Engineer to join a leading contractor focused on Education and Healthcare projects. You will design and analyse steel, concrete and timber structures and contribute to delivering high-quality, sustainable construction solutions.

Based in the United Kingdom, the role offers hybrid working with 4 office days and 1 home day. The position provides training towards chartership, a strong project pipeline for the next few years, and a friendly culture within a large

Qualifications

• Qualified degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Experience as Structural Engineer in steel, concrete and timber.
• Knowledge of British standards/Eurocodes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural steel and timber systems.
• Carry out feasibility studies and site inspections.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop design concepts.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
• Perform calculations and simulations for load-bearing capacity.
