Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer in Manchester to join a growing practice delivering building structures from concept to construction. You will work with experienced engineers and design teams to produce high-quality solutions across residential, commercial, industrial, and refurbishment projects.
The role requires a degree in civil or structural engineering, experience in UK design standards, and proficiency with structural analysis software.
Qualifications
- Essential Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience in a UK structural engineering consultancy.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and UK Building Regulations.
- Experience with construction materials and structural analysis software.
Responsibilities
- Carry out structural design and analysis for building projects.
- Prepare calculations, reports and design documentation.
- Design structures using steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
- Liaise with clients, architects and contractors.
- Attend site visits and project meetings as required.
- Ensure delivery to regulations, standards and best practice.
- Support delivery of projects on time and within budget.
