Job summary

Airey Miller is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team in Greater London. You will contribute to a varied portfolio—structural inspections, design and appraisal work on existing and new buildings—while developing toward chartered status.

Working under the Team Lead, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues and clients, preparing calculations, drawings and technical reports, and supporting project delivery with high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng/MSc).
• Experience in structural consultancy and familiarity with design codes.
• Experience with inspections, surveys, defect investigations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural inspections and condition surveys.
• Perform defect investigations across existing buildings.
• Design and analyse for new-build, refurbishment, extension and change-of-use.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors and consultants.
• Support senior engineers in project management and deadlines.
