Airey Miller is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our engineering team in the Greater London area. You will work under the Team Lead and collaborate with experienced colleagues on a varied portfolio, including inspections, defect investigations and design for new-build and existing buildings.

You will develop technical skills across disciplines, progress toward chartered status, and engage with clients, architects and contractors to deliver high-quality solutions.

Formación

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (BEng, MEng or MSc).
• Experience in a structural engineering consultancy with knowledge of structural principles and design codes.
• Experience carrying out inspections, condition surveys, defect investigations and preparing technical reports.
• Competence in structural analysis, design software and CAD packages such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE, or already hold chartered status.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel to site and hold a full UK driving licence.

Working under the guidance of the Team Lead and alongside experienced colleagues, you will contribute to a varied portfolio of projects, from structural inspections and defect investigations to design and appraisal work on new build and existing buildings. Who you are

• Experience carrying out building inspections, condition surveys, defect investigations and preparing technical reports.
• Competence in structural analysis, design software and CAD packages such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• You will be working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE, or already hold chartered status.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach, a willingness to travel to site and a full UK driving licence.
