Job summary
Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to perform analysis, design and assessment for reinforced concrete and steel structures within the GBE‑N programme in the UK. You will produce calculations, models, drawings and reports, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
You will work with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical and safety teams to deliver integrated solutions, handling various loading conditions and supporting design substantiation and
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required or in progress toward Chartered status.
- Experience in analysis and design of RC, steel, and civil structures.
- Strong knowledge of UK and international design codes and structural behaviour.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software and digital engineering tools.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structural engineering analysis, design, and assessment for concrete, steel, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Produce and review calculations, models, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Support design substantiation and technical documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to develop integrated solutions.
- Undertake assessments under normal, construction, environmental, and seismic loading where required.
- Participate in design reviews and resolve engineering queries.
