RD Engineering Associates Ltd. are a Civil/Structural Engineering consultancy based in Appley Bridge, Lancashire.
We provide professional building design services across the UK, serving the residential, educational, rail, and water industries.
We are a small consultancy of 6 employees and due to increased workload, we are looking to expand by bringing in new members of staff.
The candidate will be undertaking structural design (structural steelwork, timber, and reinforced concrete design) in domestic/commercial/industrial settings.
Typical duties will include:
The ideal candidate would have experience using AutoCAD, Tekla TEDDs, and structural modelling software such as Tekla Structural Designer.
We request that the applicant has a full UK driving licence and is willing to attend various sites/properties once training is completed.
This is a permanent role requiring 37.5 hours per week (full time) working from the head office in Appley Bridge, West Lancashire (5 minutes North-East of Wigan).
The role will pay a salary between £37500-£42500 (depending on experience) p/a with 28 annual holidays (including bank holidays) and a company pension. We will also provide a profit share bonus scheme.
We also offer a flexible working environment, with opportunities to work from home for a number of days a week, once embedded into the day-to-day running of the business.
