We are partnering with a prominent professional organization that has recently completed a merger to identify a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to assist with the ongoing merger and the technical end-user aspects of the project, as well as some BAU tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and administer Azure Entra ID environments to ensure seamless identity and access solutions across the enterprise.
2. Oversee Active Directory infrastructure, including configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
3. Administer enterprise backup solutions, leveraging tools such as Druva, mvault, and AVEpoint for secure data management.
4. Configure and maintain DFS-N (Distributed File System - Namespace) for optimized file sharing.
5. Perform DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) and DNS (Domain Name System) administration, ensuring efficient network communication and security.
6. Lead initiatives to integrate IT infrastructure post-merger, ensuring systems operate cohesively while aligning with organizational goals.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex directory service issues in collaboration with other teams.
8. Document processes, configurations, and merger-specific solutions for internal knowledge sharing.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing enterprise-scale directory services.
• Extensive experience with Azure Entra ID, Active Directory, DFS-N, DHCP, and DNS administration.
• Proven expertise with enterprise backup solutions such as Druva, mvault, and AVEpoint.
• Previous experience with IT systems integration during mergers or acquisitions is preferred.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle high-level technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation.

The role is initially for a 9-month period, with the possibility of extension depending on the client’s needs. The position is based in Belfast but may be fully remote for UK-based candidates.
